Hello! We wanted to give Adoption ARC a big thank you for helping us find our baby girl back in 2024. We are not in the state of New Jersey but we drove up when she was a couple weeks old and now she is already 15 months.
They really went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and make us feel really comfortable throughout the entire process.
From the beginning up to today, the communication has been phenomenal. Especially with all of the legal stuff that went way above our heads, Tara really knows her stuff and has been very helpful.

I found Adoption ARC one day while I was searching adoption agency online. It was heaven sent. I contacted them on Memorial Day 2003, and got an answer the same day. Everyone at Arc treated Sam and I with such kindness and care. Our Social Worker Cynthia was the sweetest and most caring person. She walked us through the process step by step. We felt like family. So much so, we adopted our second son 22 months later.
The women of Adoption ARC, gave us the greatest gift, our two sons.
Adoption ARC made the meeting with the birth mother and our family feel so natural. All of our questions were answered. We were nervous about meeting our son’s birth mother, but ARC took away all the fears. Our Social worker was with us. Every step we had to take in both our adoptions was guided by ARC and made easy. In the years since our adoptions, every chance I get, I pass on info about ARC. I have talked to many people who thought the USA had no children up for adoption, and steered them to ARC.
Words cannot express the love and joy they brought to my husband Sam and me. I am so grateful that there are such caring women helping bring families together.

We hoped to meet Sam’s birth mother, but she preferred a closed adoption. We respect her wish. Whenever she changes her mind, we are happy to tell her about her handsome smart son. She can be very proud of him! For us it is important knowing that Sam’s birth mother wanted her son to live with us.
At this moment, we seriously think about adopting a baby brother or sister for Sam in the near future. And yes, we will work again with Adoption ARC!

We being so happy with our children; they being so sad about having to give them up. And at the same time it was the most beautiful, special and valuable meeting ever, for all parties involved! It gave us so much valuable information, pictures, movies, impressions and conversations.
Knowing that everyone in the room loves that little baby so much...gives us so much connection
If our children start asking questions about their background, we will be able to give them so many answers. We feel it gave the birth-families comfort and may be even some relief. One of them literally said that a weight was lifted from his shoulders by meeting us. We were laughing together and crying together.
Knowing that everyone in the room loves that little baby so much and all they want and think about is what is the best thing for that little baby gives us so much connection, even though you don’t really know each other. If you have the chance, meet each other! It will be a priceless gift for your child when he or she grows up.

We are still in contact with both families, keeping them up to date about how our children are doing. How the contact will develop in the future when our children grow older is totally up to the children themselves. We are open and supportive in any way we can!
