The Adoption Process for Birth Mothers

Experiencing an unplanned pregnancy is difficult at any time in your life. There are so many decisions to be made and now in many states, a woman’s right to choose is all but gone.

Why Place Your Child for Adoption?

Many birthparents place because they are not in a stable housing or employment situation and may already be raising other children without support.

Some birth mothers suffer from mental health and drug addictions and do not feel that they can best care for an infant until they address their own issues.

There are also those clients who have not received prenatal care and/or come to Adoption ARC at the last minute, right before delivery or at the hospital. The agency provides the same high level of care and respect to all women exploring adoption options.

I never imagined that I could feel so happy about such a sad situation.
