Information For Birth Mothers
Free Confidential Counseling
..in your home or anywhere you choose. A sensitive, caring and experienced counselor will help you think through all the hard questions you face. You and the counselor will work together to come up with a plan that will be best for you and your baby.
Family Mediation
If there are conflicts between you and other family members, including your own parents or the father of the baby, we will help you communicate and listen to one another.
Referrals for Pre-Natal Care
Adoption ARC will provide assistance in finding prenatal care, making appointments and even arranging transportation arrangements to care facilities.
Parenting Preparation and Support
If your choice is to parent your baby, we will give you the supposrt you need to be a successful parent by providing three things:
- Classes
- One-on One Parent Training
- Support Groups
Referral for Community Services
If you or your family members need any other community services, we will help you find the services that are rigth for you in the areas of
Adoption Planning
Or, if adoption is your choice, we will assist you every step of the way. We will help you understand the process and safeguard your legal rights throughout the adoption process. If you would like an open adoption, which includes meeting the adoptive parents, we can provide this for you. Families from the Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware, the United States, Canada and abroad are eager and able to accept your child permanently into their homes.
We have an application form for birth parents online to download, if you are ready to begin right away. Once the application is downloaded on to your desktop, print it out, and send us a hard copy in the mail for confidentiality purposes.
