Kamra works as one of Adoption ARC's wonderful birth parent counselors. She obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies from The Pennsylvania State University in August, 2004. After the completion of a summer internship program with ARC, she gladly accepted the position as a birth parent counselor in October,2004.
Kamra states that the Adoption ARC experience is one that is beneficial to the lives of each child, every family (Birth and Adoptive), and everyone whose lives are touched by the adoption process. She feels that adoption is a wonderful, selfless way to help individuals fulfill their dreams of raising a family.
In order to assist birth parent during this difficult period of their lives, Kamra offers one-on-one options counseling, referrals to various community resources, and labor and delivery support services. Although, her hours many times extend well beyond regular business hours, she is always happy to assist with a smile and warm shoulder. Follow-up after placement is also one of her specialties and she continues to provide services well-beyond the adoption placement.
